Mr. Klein is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Parquet Capital. Previously, he worked at Janus Capital as a global credit analyst and as founder of the distressed and special situations effort for its Fundamental Fixed Income department; at UBS AG in its Special Situations Group as an executive director and head of distressed; and its Structured Lending Group as a director and head of distressed & special situations; Redrock Capital as principal; and Madison Capital as an analyst. He began his career at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. as an associate analyst in Global Credit Research and as an analyst in Corporate Finance in New York. Mr. Klein earned an M.S. degree from Stanford University, an M.B.A. degree from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business, high distinction, and a B.S. degree from the University of Florida, honors, where he was also a member of the Division I Track & Field team.
Mr. McCauley is a Principal and Trader at Parquet Capital focused on trading, private credit, and portfolio research. Previously, he worked at Melody Capital, a private credit fund; and at UBS AG in its Special Situations Group focused on structuring and executing distressed and bilaterally negotiated investments; and at UBS AG as a Trader. He earned an M.S. degree in Analytical Finance and two B.S. degrees in Mathematics and Bioengineering from Lehigh University, where he was also a member of the Division I Wrestling team.
Mr. Lacerna is responsible for investment execution at the firm. Prior to Parquet Capital, he worked in the Leveraged Finance Group at Morgan Stanley and as an investment professional at Baring Private Equity Asia, a $10 billion private equity firm. He started his career at Goldman Sachs Asset Management. Mr. Lacerna is a CFA Charterholder, and earned an M.B.A. degree from MIT Sloan School of Management, and a B.A. degree in Economics from Yale University.
Mr. Murphy is the Chief Operating Officer at Parquet Capital. Prior to joining Parquet, Mr. Murphy worked at Varde Partners LP, a $12 billion global alternative investment adviser, where he directed the middle and back offices globally, as well as SAC Capital Advisors, a $14 billion alternative investment adviser, where he was the head of the fund accounting group with a focus on operations management. He is an active member of AIMA's Hedge Fund Sound Practices Valuation Committee. He earned a B.S. degree in Economics from Loyola University Maryland and a Six Sigma certificate from Villanova University.
